InstantDonate.uk is a technical service assisting participating charities with payment collection using GoCardless. It is currently a sandbox test service: no real donations can be collected.
InstantDonate does not charge donors or collect a platform fee from donations. Participating charities may pay GoCardless processing fees under their own agreements with GoCardless. InstantDonate does not set, collect or receive those fees.
Payments are authorised through GoCardless and the donor's bank. InstantDonate does not request online banking passwords. The participating charity is responsible for its GoCardless account, charitable status, fundraising statements, donor enquiries and refunds, subject to applicable payment and consumer rights.
Gift Aid declarations are optional. The charity is responsible for assessing eligibility, making HMRC claims and retaining records. InstantDonate does not submit Gift Aid claims.
Do not misuse the service, attempt unauthorised access or register an organisation you are not authorised to represent. Availability may be interrupted for maintenance or external service outages.
Nothing in these terms excludes rights or liabilities that cannot lawfully be excluded. InstantDonate is operated by a UK sole trader. The operator's full legal name, address for service and contact details are pending publication and must be completed before live launch.
